Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · effective October 12, 2026
We collect as little as possible. No advertising trackers run without your consent, analytics are cookieless, and newsletter data is deleted on request.
Who we are
Quiet Strength Method (quietstrengthmethod.com) is an independent educational publication based in Georgia (the country). It is responsible for the personal data described below. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) kept for security and debugging for up to 30 days.
- Cookieless analytics — with your consent we count page views using a daily-rotating, salted hash of your IP address and browser. The hash cannot be reversed and is not shared.
- Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, the consent text you agreed to, the time and a hashed IP, used only to send the newsletter you asked for. Double opt-in applies.
- Reader tools (habit planner, timer, challenge, prompts, tracker) store your entries in your own browser (local storage). They are never sent to us.
- Contact messages — whatever you choose to send us, kept as long as needed to reply.
Advertising and affiliate links
If advertising is enabled, ad scripts load only after you consent to the "advertising" category. Affiliate links may set cookies on the merchant's site under the merchant's policy; we receive aggregate commission reports, not your personal data.
Legal bases and your rights
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on consent (analytics, advertising, newsletter) and legitimate interests (security logs). You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Georgian residents have corresponding rights under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection.
Retention
Analytics aggregates are kept for up to 400 days; audit logs up to 24 months; unconfirmed subscriptions are deleted after 7 days; unsubscribed addresses are minimised after 24 months.
Processors and transfers
The site runs on a rented virtual private server at a cloud hosting provider, which stores the data only to host the site. No reader data is sold or shared with advertisers. If an email provider or a certified consent-management provider is enabled later, it will be listed here and on the Cookie Policy page.
Changes
We version this policy. The version number and effective date are shown at the top of the page.
